How to pack the perfect weekender bag

Words by Shelly Brown

When planning your perfect summer getaway, the endless amounts of activewear, gear, and products can seem overwhelming,—not to mention expensive! Here are our quick tips for minimal packing… and maximum adventure!

Invest in tech fabrics that you can dress up or down.
With so many leisure brands creating new, must-have clothing, we recommend investing in a classic. We chose an elegant white button up by ADAY, made of nylon and elastane, making it the perfect pick to take you from the ridge to the reservation.

Always go with denim.
Is anyone else as thankful as we are to be living in a time where denim can be dressed up for dinner? Most jackets can take up a lot of space in a bag, but a great denim jacket adds a classic cool factor to the hoodie you rolled out of bed in—while also being pack friendly.

Add a great blanket.
Keep a beautiful blanket close to keep you warm (and add a little beauty) wherever you end up! We love this one from Sakcloth and Ash.

Pack the right shoes, the clean and the dirty.
The Clean: Make sure you have a stylish pair of comfy sneakers that can keep your feet happy and also look great with a dinner dress.
The Dirty: A must have for your bag is a pair of great shoes or boots that don’t make you think twice when you step through mud puddles.
