Oxford’s Holly Jolly Holidays: A Season of Magic and Memories
Oxford, Mississippi is spreading holiday cheer a little early this year with Visit Oxford MS’ “Christmas in July,” offering a sneak peek at the highly anticipated fifth annual Holly Jolly Holidays. This year’s celebration promises even more festive fun, with new programming that will make the season extra special for both residents and visitors.
The centerpiece of this year's Holly Jolly Holidays is the enchanting new Walk of Lights at mTrade Park, a dazzling display of custom-designed illuminations celebrating Oxford's rich history. From November 23 to January 5, the northwest fields of mTrade Park will transform into a sparkling wonderland featuring a magical tunnel of lights, hot chocolate, s’mores kits, cookies, and more. This spectacular light show will pay homage to iconic Oxford landmarks, including the famous Double Decker Bus and the picturesque Oxford skyline.
“The new Walk of Lights is the perfect addition to Holly Jolly Holidays, now in its fifth year with even more ways to make memories with loved ones in Oxford,” said Kinney Ferris, executive director of Visit Oxford. “Oxford is a truly special place every holiday season, and we’re thrilled to expand Holly Jolly Holidays this year, from a magical tunnel of lights and ice skating to the charming decorations all around The Square.”
Adding to the festive fun, Oxford's beloved ice-skating rink will move to mTrade Park, creating a central hub for holiday activities. Families can glide across the ice, enjoy the Walk of Lights, and immerse themselves in the holiday spirit all in one magical location.
