- The Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail is located in Gulf State Park, connecting the cities of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. It consists of 15 trails among six ecosystems that span more than 28 miles making it ideal for biking, hiking, birding, and site seeing.

From pier and shore fishing to deep sea excursions, there are many businesses in the area that offer a plethora of trips for anglers of all experience levels.
- There are 15 golf courses around coastal Alabama. Gentle breezes coming off the water and top-notch courses crafted by some of the sport’s greatest make Alabama’s beaches the ideal oasis for golfers.
